Mom Comes into the 21st Century

Well, here it is! I have officially entered into the 21st century with my very own blog. Over the years, I have been a prolific letter writer of "Memos from Mom," but perhaps this is a better - and more fun - way to communicate with friends and family, although Kaytee has warned me blogging is highly addictive! Watch for new postings on current - and old - news . . . since there has not been a Memo from Mom since June 2008.

A Couple of thoughts:

1. Who DIDN'T love Nana!!!

2. In Nana's poem, I didn't know Grandpa knew how to smile....

3. Peggy Sue!!!! Just know I laughed really hard when I read that!

4. Obviously you got your "wooden paddle" idea from Grandpa and know this, I HATED that thing. I still have nightmares about it. I will forever be in counseling for it, too.

5. That fourwheeling trip WAS fun! He was a "stick-in-the-mud"...if Larry could have fun then surely Grandpa could have too!

Grandpa sounded like an amazing father and man! I wish I had pushed more to hear some of his stories. The only story I've ever heard from your talk was the "bug" story.

Keep writing, Can't wait for the next post!!!

Love ya, KT
